“Dear Bethesda, We wanted to write to let you know how grateful our entire family is for Bethesda Senior Care. Your personable, family-friendly approach to assisted living is rare in this day and age of large corporations and executive decisions managing the lives of elderly residents. Thank you for treating our parents with love and respect, as well as a high level of personal care. We appreciate being able to come into the office to discuss their needs and knowing you will be able to help in some way every time. You are such a blessing to my parents and thus to our family as a whole. Thank you for not just being a facility, but also a family.”

“I visited a friend at Bethesda, and I liked the fact that everybody has their own single room and that the staff is very friendly. They have really good food here. It’s very clean, and the price is reasonable. They could use a little more activities as it seems like most of the residents don’t want to participate in what they have. The staff is very friendly; one of them had to go to the pharmacy to get her prescriptions because the one who sent the prescriptions over didn’t send the right prescription so this man went out of his way to go and get them to make sure she had them.”

“In the Bible, Bethesda is a pool in Jerusalem with healing properties; not unlike our Bethesda on Turkey Creek. A happy haven on a hill with a “pool of people” bringing love, caring and sharing, friendship, laughter, great food and fellowship. A down to earth, warm cozy home with a clean refreshing atmosphere for everyone. We are blessed having Mother living here and are thankful we were led to this perfect place.”

“To the wonderful home and staff called Bethesda! All of you have been a daily blessing for the good life my mom shares with each of you. We appreciate all you do and your hard work. It is noticed! You are truly special people and care. Thank you for being you..For a year of much gratitude for the love and caring spirit you have given my mother.”

“My mother-in-law was in Bethesda before she went into the hospital. We thought she was going to have more care, but they moved her in that same facility to a different level of care. It’s clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is good. She has a private room. It’s very nice. She has her own furniture in it.”

“I would like you to know that I will never forget all of the kindness your nurses and staff showed me last night when I fell after Bingo. I also wish for you to know how much I love being here and all these wonderful folks. I never thought I could feel so at home until I came here.”
– Always with love, Nancy A.

“After visiting numerous Assisted Living communities, we selected Bethesda on Turkey Creek for Mother because it just felt special. It is a comfortable and calm place to live, just as we had hoped. Mother especially likes the food, which she sometimes says reminds her of her own Southern cooking. Most importantly, Bethesda offers a peaceful home-like atmosphere. We feel comfortable knowing Mom receives dignified care and is treated with respect.”

“We wanted to thank you and the staff for the care and love you gave to Lola. We know that by placing her at the home she received good care and allowed us to be away knowing that she was well cared for. We want to extend a special thank you to Leon and the staff for all they did and to you for the understanding and time given to us. When you put it all together your program was outstanding. Again a very heartfelt THANKS.”

“I think that positive reinforcement and acknowledgement of outstanding service are worth noting, and thus this letter. There are many devoted workers at Bethesda, especially in the Memory Care unit. I have been very impressed with the CNA’s and aides in that unit ever since my mom settled into that environment in December, 2015. I appreciate the happy faces, positive remarks, caring pets, cleanliness or residents and of the facility, and patience shown to my mom and the other residents. I also appreciate the workers feeding the residents who are unable to feed themselves.

I would also like to especially acknowledge the following Memory Care workers:

  1. Laura – the smiling, energetic activity director
  2. Alma Durosier
  3. Marie Dodard
  4. Eve Beldor

I also appreciate the positive approach to keeping Bethesda running effectively and efficiently.”
